Vikings release Banyard, 10 others

The Minnesota Vikings active roster is down to 78 players with the release of running back Joe Banyard, tight end Brandon Bostick, cornerbacks Jalil Carter and Justin Coleman, wide receiver DaVaris Daniels, tackle Stephen Goodin, linebacker Josh Kaddu, wide receiver Jordan Leslie, defensive end Caesar Rayford, defensive tackle Chrishon Rose and cornerback DeMarcus Van Dyke.

Minnesota will need to make three more moves by Tuesday afternoon to reach the mandated roster limit of 75 players.
