Reynolds had met the maximum of two 10-day contracts with Minnesota, so this latest contract ensures he’ll be with the Timberwolves for the rest of the 2018-19 season.

Originally signed to a 10-day deal Feb. 27, Reynolds has appeared in seven games with Minnesota this season. He’s averaging 3.7 points, 1.1 rebounds, 0.6 assists and 0.6 steals in 14.9 minutes per contest. Reynolds put up a career-high 12 points, two assists and two steals in Minnesota’s 133-107 loss to Denver on March 12.

The 6-foot-8 forward played in 33 games (nine starts) for the Stockton Kings of the NBA G League this season, averaging 16 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 28.0 minutes per game.

Reynolds starred for Tulane in college for five seasons from 2013-18. As a senior in 2017-18, Reynolds averaged 15.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game.
