The Minnesota Lynx will open their temporary stay at Xcel Energy Center with a preseason game against the Atlanta Dream.

The Lynx announced their two-game preseason schedule Tuesday morning, a quick tune-up slate that includes a home matchup against the Dream on Friday, May 5 and a road game against the Washington Mystics on Monday, May 8.

The Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, which also hosts the Minnesota Wild, will be the team’s home for the entire 2017 season due to a series of renovations planned for Target Center in Minneapolis, scheduled to take place during the summer and fall of 2017.

The Lynx open the regular season at 6 p.m. on May 14 with a game against the Chicago Sky.
