A day after seven members of the Minnesota Gophers were honored by the Big Ten on defense and special teams, four more players were honored on offense.

Sophomore running back Rodney Smith and senior tackle Jonah Pirsig were named to the All-Big Ten third team by both the coaches and media members, while senior receiver Drew Wolitarsky was a third-team media selection.

Smith rushed for 1,084 yards this season, good enough for fourth in the Big Ten, and added 15 touchdowns.

Wolitarsky ranked third in the conference with 787 receiving yards and scored five touchdowns.

Senior running back Shannon Brooks earned an honorable mention from the coaches.
