Zach Whitecloud - Out of action for finale Whitecloud (rest) won't play Wednesday versus the Canucks, Ryan Wallis of Fox Sports Las Vegas reports.

Impact Whitecloud doesn't appear to be dealing with an injury. He'll get a game off to end the regular season after posting 13 hits, 72 shots on net, 117 hits and 103 blocked shots over 74 appearances. Whitecloud will likely be on the third pairing for most of the postseason, likely at the expense of Kaedan Korczak's playing time.

Ivan Barbashev - Taking day off Barbashev (rest) won't be in the lineup Wednesday versus the Canucks, Ryan Wallis of Fox Sports Las Vegas reports.

Impact Barbashev ends the regular season at 51 points in 70 games, his second-best output in his nine-year career. The 29-year-old should be back in a top-six role when the playoffs begin.

Brandon Saad - Resting Wednesday Saad (rest) won't play Wednesday versus the Canucks, Ryan Wallis of Fox Sports Las Vegas reports.

Impact Saad put up three points in Tuesday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Flames, so he's earned a little rest. He ended the regular season with 30 points in 72 games between the Golden Knights and the Blues.

Noah Hanifin - Out again Wednesday Hanifin (rest) won't play Wednesday versus the Canucks, Ryan Wallis of Fox Sports Las Vegas reports.

Impact Hanifin will be out of action for the second game in a row to end the regular season. The 28-year-old should be right back in a top-four role when the Golden Knights face the Wild in Game 1 of the playoffs.

Tomas Hertl - Takes turn out of lineup Hertl (rest) is not on the ice for warmups and is not expected to play Wednesday versus the Canucks.

Impact Hertl recently returned from a shoulder injury and logged two points over three contests since getting back in the lineup. He should be fine for Game 1 versus the Wild to open the postseason.
