Scott Sabourin - Returned to minors Sabourin was returned to AHL Syracuse on Wednesday.
Impact Sabourin was promoted to bolster the Bolts' roster ahead of Tuesday's preseason matchup with the Panthers but now will head back to the minors. Over the last two seasons, the 33-year-old winger has logged just four NHL contests for the Sharks. Now with his fourth NHL franchise, Sabourin figures to remain primarily a minor-league option for the club.

Jakob Pelletier - Waived Wednesday Pelletier was placed on waivers by Tampa Bay on Wednesday.
Impact Pelletier had seven goals and 19 points across 49 regular-season outings between Calgary and Philadelphia in 2024-25. The 24-year-old is projected to start the upcoming campaign in the minors if he clears waivers, but it wouldn't be surprising if he's one of Tampa Bay's top call-up options.

Jonas Johansson - Making third preseason start Johansson will start in goal in Tuesday's preseason game versus the Panthers in Orlando, Erik Erlendsson of LightningInsider.com reports.
Impact Johansson will get the nod for a neutral-site game, which will be his third start of the preseason. He's been sharp so far, allowing just two goals on 47 shots. Andrei Vasilevskiy (undisclosed) remains out during the preseason, but Johansson's workload in the regular season is expected to be fairly small as long as Vasilevskiy is healthy.
