The Recap:

A couple of Toronto Maple Leaf prospects stood out over the past couple weeks in the junior ranks. Add Adam Brooks to the growing list of forward prospects that have impressed this season and is someone to keep an eye on as the WHL season progresses along.

Brooks of the Regina Pats continued his hot streak as he had seven points in three games. As a result, he was named WHL player of the week. With this award, it marks another Maple Leaf prospect to win a weekly award.

Furthermore, Brooks wasn’t the only Maple Leaf prospect to shine this week. Over in the OHL, Kitchener Rangers winger Jeremy Bracco had himself a game versus the Peterborough Petes. After having a quiet game versus the London Knights. Bracco decided to explode offensively as he recorded a hat-trick as he helped the Rangers score 7 goals in a win versus the Petes.

As a result, Bracco now finds himself tied with fellow teammate Adam Mascherin for third in scoring in the OHL. Continuing the trend of small, yet highly skilled wingers that are coming through the Maple Leafs system.
