The Montreal Canadiens have claimed Paul Byron off of waivers.

Prior to the claim, Byron played for the Calgary Flames.

The claim comes a day after Zack Kassian entered a rehab clinic following a car accident that brok his nose and foot.

Byron, a 26-year-old forward, finished with six goals and 19 points in 57 games with the Calgary Flames last season.
