Both the Kings and Flyers sit in wildcard positions going into Saturday’s game both in tight playoff races. Los Angeles is coming into the Wells Fargo going 6-4 in their last 10 games.  The Kings are as solid as they come defensively with the fifth least amount of goals against this season (123). In six place Montreal has allowed seven more.

The Philadelphia flyers will continue with the same lineup that delivered a 3-1 win vs. The Montreal Canadiens Thursday night.

 Goalie Michal Neuvirth will start in net Saturday afternoon. 

Neuvirth will start back to back games for the first time since four consecutive starts from Oct. 30 to Nov. 5. Neuvirth shut the door Thursday night in a 3-1 win over Montreal posting a .938 SV%.

Former Philadelphia Flyer Jeff Carter is having an all-star season scoring 26 goals along with 20 assists in 51 games for the Kings. Carter is coming in hot scoring two goals in his last game.

 Who to watch on the Flyers: Claude Giroux

When Captain Claude Giroux is scoring the Flyers win. The Flyers who have won four of their last five games.Giroux has scored a point in all three wins along with a GWG. Giroux was held pointless in the dreadful game in Carolina and the win against Toronto. During the Flyers 12 game winning streak earlier this season, Giroux scored 5 goals for 12 points with a +12.
