NHL tough guy, All-Star MVP John Scott will be honored by Hall of Fame
NHL All-Star John Scott (saying that isn’t going to get old) had a fantastic weekend.
The tough guy-turned-Pacific Division captain voted in by the fans scored two goals in 40 minutes of 3-on-3 hockey and led his team to the tournament championship as the game’s MVP in Nashville, Tenn.
But the accolades won’t stop there.
On Monday, the Hockey Hall of Fame announced that it too will be honoring Scott:
Happy to confirm John Scott's helmet & other artifacts from the @NHL All-Star Game will be on display soon at the Hockey Hall of Fame.

This story just keeps getting better. It may be even good enough for a movie …
Scott’s place in the game was uncertain after he traded from Arizona to Montreal and subsequently demoted to the AHL. However, the NHL, after review, announced that he would be kept in the game.
Scott wrote in the The Players’ Tribune last week that he got a call from the NHL, trying to talk him out of participating in the showcase event.
Although Scott’s road to Nashville was a rocky one, it was certainly worth it.
