The Chicago Blackhawks certainly went the extra mile with their lengthy video version of the Christmas Yule Log on Tuesday.
The video covers a lot of ground — and it should since it lasts a whopping 24 minutes, 23 seconds — highlighted by superstar Patrick Kane sipping a beverage (perhaps eggnog?) while dressed in a candy cane costume.
The weird happenings didn’t end there as captain Jonathan Toews wore a fuzzy hunting cap and added a Christmas tree to the scene while goaltender Corey Crawford slowly ate a cookie while looking awkwardly at the camera.
In addition, Artemi Panarin dressed as an elf and ate a loaf of bread — an appropriate gesture since "Panarin Bread" is the rookie’s nickname.
Not to be outdone, fellow forward Andrew Shaw engaged in a lightsaber battle with defenseman Trevor van Riemsdyk.
The video features plenty of action – as weird as it is – but let’s keep in mind that there’s nearly 24 1/2 minutes to cover.
