Impact McCarron netted his first goal of the campaign, but the Predators' fourth line was caved in by the Kraken's offense. The 29-year-old has added three shots on net, two hits, two blocked shots and a minus-5 rating over three games this season. He'll likely rack up plenty of hits and PIM, but McCarron's career high in points came last year (22 in 70 regular-season games), and he doesn't have a lot of upside in that area.

Impact The helper was Beniers' first point in four games this season. He led all Kraken forwards with 17:42 of ice time and continues to be an important two-way center, but that hasn't translated to stronger scoring numbers yet. It's not for a lack of opportunity -- he's recorded 12 shots on net and remains on the power play, so there are reasons to believe his luck will improve over time.

Impact Oleksiak and Brandon Montour have formed a strong second pairing for the Kraken early in the campaign.
