Rakell notched two assists, one while shorthanded, and added three shots on goal in a 4-2 win over the Hurricanes on Friday.
Rakell had the primary assist on the opening goal by Adam Henrique and then set up Carter Rowney's shorthanded tally in the second period. Rakell helped the Ducks erase an early 2-0 deficit by assisting on Adam Henrique's first-period goal. Rakell then needed just 57 seconds in the second period to knot the score. After a bit of a slow start, the 26-year-old has five points and 25 shots on goal in seven contests.

Rakell got the Ducks on the board late in the second period, beating Boston goalie Jaroslav Halak cleanly with a heavy wrist shot from the top of the left faceoff circle. The goal gave Rakell points in three of his last four games. He has also thrown 20 shots on goal during that four-game stretch. Rakell put up back-to-back 30-goal campaigns in 2016-17 and 2017-18 but slipped to 18 last season as his shooting percentage dipped to single digits. A rebound in the latter category should lift him back into the 25-30 goal range.
Rakell found twine once on five shots in Tuesday's 3-1 road win over the Red Wings.
Rakell fashioned back-to-back 30-goal seasons before an injury-riddled 2018-19 campaign saw his total dip to an 18-spot. As long as stays out of the medical room and remains in the top six, the Swede should remain productive for fantasy owners abound.
