Rasmus Ristolainen - Moves to IR Ristolainen (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Monday, per the NHL media site.
Impact Ristolainen, who hasn't played since Feb. 10, still doesn't have an exact timetable in place for his return to the lineup. In 31 games this season, he has registered one goal, three assists, 46 shots on net, 45 blocked shots and 56 hits.

Bryan Rust - Missing from road trip Rust (upper body) did not join the Penguins for their four-game road trip, the team announced Monday.
Impact Rust was injured in Sunday's wild 7-6 victory over the Flyers in which he racked up two goals on six shots and a power-play helper. Unless he links up with the team later in the trip, the 31-year-old winger should be expected to miss at least the next four games. Reilly Smith has moved into the first-line spot while Valtteri Puustinen was elevated to the No. 1 power-play unit.

Kris Letang - Two points in Sunday's win Letang scored the game-winning goal and added a power-play assist in Sunday's 7-6 victory over the Flyers.
Impact The veteran blueliner produced his second straight multi-point performance, snapping a scoring slump that had seen Letang cobble together just one goal and six points over his prior 16 contests. Sunday's helper was only his third power-play point of the season, as the addition of Erik Karlsson to the Penguins' lineup has left Letang in danger of failing to score in double digits with the man advantage for the first time since 2009-10.

Rickard Rakell - Two-point effort Sunday Rakell produced a goal and an assist in Sunday's 7-6 win over the Flyers.
Impact After helping to set up a Sidney Crosby tally in the first period, Rakell potted his own in the third. The 30-year-old remains erratic, but skating alongside Crosby at even strength gives him some fantasy ceiling, and the injury sustained by Bryan Rust (upper body) on Sunday could make Rakell's spot on the power play more secure. He's delivered three multi-point performances in the last 10 games, but has just one goal and seven points over that stretch.

Sidney Crosby - Four points in win over Philly Crosby scored a goal and added three assists, one on the power play, in Sunday's 7-6 win over the Flyers.
Impact The future Hall of Famer got the Penguins on the board midway through the first period before having a hand in two Bryan Rust (upper body) tallies and a third-period marker by Rickard Rakell. Crosby is doing what he can to drag his team into the postseason, and since the calendar flipped to 2024, the 36-year-old has recorded 12 goals and 24 points in 20 games.
