Tyson Foerster - Nets lone goal in loss Foerster scored a goal and added three hits in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Senators.

Impact Foerster scored 29 seconds into the game, but that goal was the only one Linus Ullmark gave up. It continues Foerster's excellent start to the year, which has seen him rack up three goals and three helpers, as well as 13 shots, five hits and a plus-6 rating, over seven appearances. Foerster should have no trouble maintaining a top-six job as long as he's playing at this level, and he should be on the radar for fantasy managers who were hesitant to draft him after he missed part of camp while recovering from an elbow infection.

Michael Amadio - Nets first goal of season Amadio scored a goal on three shots and blocked two shots in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Flyers.

Impact Amadio got on the scoresheet for the first time this season, scoring at 7:57 of the first period to answer Tyson Foerster's goal in the opening minute. The 29-year-old Amadio has remained in a middle-six role to begin the season, but he's not seeing power-play time. He's posted eight shots on net, 12 hits, six blocked shots and a minus-2 rating through eight contests. He won't be an option for fantasy managers until he can show more consistency on offense.

Olle Lycksell - First goal a game-winner Lycksell scored a goal on three shots with a plus-1 rating in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Flyers.

Impact The former Flyer got some sweet revenge when he potted his first goal of the season early in the second period, converting a slick between-the-legs feed from Claude Giroux to give Ottawa a 2-1 lead that held up. Lycksell has been a consistently dangerous scorer in the minors, including 19 goals and 44 points in 43 contests last season for AHL Lehigh Valley, but as yet he hasn't been able to replicate that production at the top level. Through 49 career NHL games dating back to 2022-23, Lycksell has just two goals and 12 points, and bouncing between the Sentaors' fourth line and the press box isn't going to give him many chances to show he has more to offer.
