    News

Rinne (illness) won't dress for Tuesday's game against the Senators, Kristopher Martel of Fox Sports Tennessee reports.

    Impact

Juuse Saros will get the starting nod, and Connor Ingram, who was recalled from AHL Milwaukee on Tuesday, will serve as the backup. Rinne was trending in the right direction after the game-day skate, so he will aim to get healthy for Thursday's matchup versus the Flames.

    News

Rinne (illness) will be in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Senators, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.

    Impact

The Predators have yet to name a starter for Tuesday's tilt, but Rinne will at least be available to back up Juuse Saros if he doesn't get the nod. If that ends up being the case, the 37-year-old Finn will almost certainly be back in goal for Thursday's clash with Calgary.

    News

Rinne (illness) didn't participate in Monday's practice, Adam Vingan of The Athletic reports.

    Impact

Rinne's having a down season, posting a .900 save percentage and 3.00 GAA en route to an 18-13-4 record. If he's unable to play in Tuesday's game versus the Senators, expect Juuse Saros to get the starting nod.

    News

Rinne allowed two goals on 38 shots in a 2-1 overtime loss to the Blackhawks on Friday.

    Impact

The 37-year-old didn't receive the support he needed to win this matchup. While the Predators helped Rinne stop all the shots he faced at 5-on-5, the Blackhawks scored on the power play and in overtime, which was enough because Nashville tallied just one goal. Rinne owns a .932 save percentage in the last four games, but he is 1-2-1 during that stretch. He is 18-13-4 with a 3.00 GAA and .900 save percentage in 35 games this season.

    News

Rinne will start in the crease Friday against the Blackhawks in Chicago, Thomas Willis of the Predators' official site reports.

    Impact

Rinne shut down the Blues in his last start, setting aside 38 of the 39 shots to record his 18th victory of the season. The veteran netminder will get the front end of a back-to-back set Friday versus a Blackhawks squad that's lost seven of its last eight, so he'll presumably get a rest Saturday against the Blue Jackets.
