Raffl suffered an upper-body injury in Saturday's game versus the Kings, Bill Meltzer of NHL.com reports.
It's unclear how the injury occurred. Raffl skated 16:16 in Saturday's contest and didn't appear to be laboring through his shifts. Per Meltzer, coach Alain Vigneault expects an update on Raffl's status in the coming days. The Flyers are back in action Tuesday against the Penguins.
Raffl scored a goal on three shots, dished three hits and added four PIM in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blues.
Raffl provided a goal at 15:43 of the second period. The Austrian has 12 points, 41 shots on goal and 53 hits in 37 games. He's at only eight PIM -- Raffl usually plays with the rules of the sport pretty well, but he's taken three minor penalties in his last two games in an unusually undisciplined run.
Raffl recorded an assist and a team-high four hits in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Capitals.
Raffl found Robert Hagg for the tying goal at 19:18 of the first period. He's now picked up points in consecutive games after scoring in Tuesday's loss to the Hurricanes. Raffl is up to 11 points, 46 hits and a minus-7 rating through 34 appearances. He missed 10 contests with a broken finger, but the 31-year-old Austrian could reach the 20-point mark at his current pace.
Raffl scored a goal and posted three shots with a hit and block during a 5-4 loss to the Hurricanes on Tuesday.
That was Raffl's first goal since Oct. 26, but actually, he's been rather solid considering his expectations this season. Raffl is playing a little bit more per game than last season, and as a result, he's averaging more shots on goal and points per game. He already has four goals, which puts him just two shy of last season, and Raffl has played only 33 games. He also has 10 points with a minus-8 rating, 35 shots, 42 hits and 15 blocks this season.
Raffl (finger) skated 10:40 and dished one hit in Sunday's 2-1 overtime win over the Ducks.
Raffl missed 10 games with the injury and returned in a fourth-line role. He has nine points and a minus-4 rating through 29 appearances this season -- fantasy owners in standard formats can find more reliable depth scoring elsewhere.
