The 2017 NHL Draft gets underway on Friday night in Chicago, which means the NHL's next crop of stars will get to step on stage and in front of a camera and introduce themselves to the world.
As an important reminder for those talented young kids: This is just the beginning. A lot can (and will) happen moving forward, and there's a good chance you'll look back on draft day and barely recognize yourself ... for better or for worse.
