Calum Ritchie - Shipped back to junior team
Ritchie was reassigned to OHL Oshawa on Wednesday.
Impact Ritchie scored a goal on 11 shots and added six hits over his first seven NHL games, but he also carried a minus-7 rating and saw his ice time slip in recent games. The 19-year-old forward remains one of the Avalanche's top prospects, but he can play in a maximum of two more NHL games without burning a year of his entry-level deal this season. As such, Ritchie is expected to spend the rest of the campaign in the junior ranks, including potentially representing Team Canada at the World Junior Championship this winter.

Chris Wagner - Rises to NHL
Wagner was recalled from AHL Colorado on Wednesday.

Impact Burakovsky had the secondary helper on Ryker Evans' tally in the dying seconds of the game. Through seven contests, Burakovsky has done well as a playmaker, earning five assists, including three on the power play. The winger has come up empty on 10 shots on goal and has a minus-1 rating, but he could be a depth option in fantasy if he continues to be semi-consistent on offense.

Ivan posted an assist and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Kraken.
Impact Ivan was able to help out on the second of Joel Kiviranta's two goals in the game, as the Avalanche got some much-needed depth scoring. Through seven appearances, Ivan has two assists, eight shots on net and a plus-1 rating. The 22-year-old forward hasn't been sent to AHL Colorado in paper transactions over the last week, so it looks like he might be able to stick in the NHL for a while, though his fourth-line role isn't fantasy-friendly.

Impact The helper was Malinski's first point of the season, but it's been his steady play on the third pairing that's kept him in the lineup. The Avalanche have often rotated Calvin de Haan, Oliver Kylington or John Ludvig out of the lineup, while Malinski has played in all seven games. Malinski has 10 shots on net, six blocked shots, three hits and a minus-1 rating while averaging 15:44 of ice time per contest.
