Johnston suffered a season-ending knee injury in Sunday's 18-10 win over the Falcons, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Impact Johnston's injury will have the Steelers looking for a new punter ahead of their Week 2 matchup with the Broncos. His absence is also a blow to the Steelers' field-goal unit, as Johnston served as placekicker Chris Boswell's holder.
