Sent to Philadelphia The Jaguars traded Bigsby to the Eagles on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Impact Bigsby took a back seat to Travis Etienne in Week 1, getting outsnapped 40-14 (out of 66 on offense) and outtouched 19-5. All of Bigsby's touches were carries for a measly 12 yards, while Etienne ripped off 156 yards from scrimmage. With this move to Philadelphia, Bigsby may be able to join the RB mix right away after backup Will Shipley suffered a rib injury last Thursday against the Cowboys, but this is still Saquon Barkley's backfield, and veteran AJ Dillon also is on hand. More than likely, Bigsby's immediate impact will occur on kick returns.

Logs five carries Week 1 Bigsby turned five carries into 12 yards and added a 20-yard kickoff return during the Jaguars' 26-10 win over the Panthers on Sunday.

Impact Bigsby had the second most carries on the Jaguars, but it was far from a split backfield approach as his 14 snaps on offense was outdone by Travis Etienne (40). Etienne had the hot hand Sunday, turning 16 carries into 143 yards for a 8.9 YPC compared to Bisgby's 2.4 YPC. Bigsby wasn't targeted in the passing game, which will limit his usage as Etienne appears to be the Jaguars' clear lead back early in the season. Jacksonville will hit the road for Week 2 to take on the Bengals on Sunday.

Impact It was encouraging to see Bigsby contribute as a pass catcher considering he had only seven catches last season compared to Travis Etienne's 39. Bigsby played the opening drive Sunday, which culminated in a botched handoff that was credited as a Trevor Lawrence fumble, while Etienne accumulated 32 yards on four touches on the team's second possession before the starters were removed from the game. They seem headed for a backfield split come the regular season and are currently running ahead of rookie fourth-round pick Bhayshul Tuten, who scored a second-quarter touchdown with the backups. Jacksonville's final preseason game will be Saturday against the Dolphins.
