Week 12 inactives: Sammy Watkins, LeSean McCoy up, Dolphins OL down

The Week 12 actives/inactives is great news for the Buffalo Bills offense and simultaneously terrible news for the Miami Dolphins offensive line.

It’s Week 12 of the 2016 NFL season. This is the time of the year where injuries start to pile up. Some teams are having a better start in the injury department in Week 12 than others.

The Buffalo Bills will be getting a huge boost offensively with both wide receiver Sammy Watkins and running back LeSean McCoy being active versus the Jacksonville Jaguars.

On the other side of the coin, nobody will be available to block on the Miami Dolphins offensive line. Missing Week 12 versus the San Francisco 49ers will be Laremy Tunsil, Mike Pouncey, and Branden Albert.

Having both McCoy and Watkins available will make things easier for Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor. Buffalo is favored over the visiting 2-8 Jaguars. A win on Sunday keeps the Bills alive in the AFC Playoff race.

Though the 49ers are a terrible football team, not having three of five starters on the offensive line could prove problematic for Adam Gase’s Miami offense. It may be difficult for running back Jay Ajayi to do work on the ground and limit Ryan Tannehill’s overall effectiveness as a passer.

Other notable inactives include Los Angeles Rams offensive lineman Greg Robinson and Atlanta Falcons cornerback Desmond Trufant. Not having Robinson will hurt the Rams offensively on the road against the New Orleans Saints. Trufant is now out for the year with a torn pectoral muscle. Can the Falcons secondary sustain this big of a loss in their back-end?
