Published Dec. 8, 2013 7:31 p.m. ET

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson and New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski have been sidelined by right leg injuries.

Peterson and Gronkowski each are expected to undergo an MRI on Monday.

Peterson, the NFL's leading rusher, left in the second quarter of Minnesota's 29-26 loss at Baltimore after he hurt his right foot when he was tackled on an icy field. Gronkowski departed New England's 27-26 victory over Cleveland in the third with a suspected torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.

The Vikings also lost tight end John Carlson to a concussion. Dolphins running back Lamar Miller and Raiders tight end Nick Kasa and defensive tackle Vance Walker also left their games on Sunday with concussions.
