Where does Brett Favre rank among the NFL's best all-time quarterbacks?

At halftime of the Green Bay Packers-Dallas Cowboys showdown on Sunday (4:30 p.m. ET on FOX), the Packers will place Brett Favre's name on the Lambeau Field facade alongside other Packers Hall of Famers.

He's got good company there but how does he compare with the all-time great quarterbacks around the league? Shannon Sharpe (whose brother Sterling played with Favre for three seasons), Skip Bayless and "Undisputed" contributor Rob Parker debated Favre's place among the best to play the position.

The conversation begins with Parker pointing out Favre's flaws, namely, his proclivity for the interception: he threw 336 over his career, 59 more than George Blanda who ranks second. Meanwhile Shannon ranks Favre in his top 10 while Skip is even more bullish.

Shannon also discusses the latter part of Favre's career when he retired and un-retired, as well as the conversation amongst the Broncos players and coaches when they prepared to play Favre's Packers squad in Super Bowl XXXII when Denver defeated Green Bay 31-24.

"I remember our defensive coordinator Greg Robinson at the time and Mike [Shanahan] said 'he's going to make plays, but he's going to give us an opportunity to make our plays.' Let's just make sure that we come down with the ones that he throws to us. That's what we did -- he turned the ball over, he fumbled once and threw an interception."
