When the St. Louis Rams drafted Todd Gurley with the 10th overall pick, many wondered how Tre Mason would handle the news. Immediately after the pick, Mason sent this tweet:

Now that OTA's have started, Mason is changing his attitude towards the rookie running back. Mason was interviewed by the Rams official team page and had this to say about his new teammate.

"We're all here now," Mason said. "You've got to accept each other as family. Me and TG, we go back to school. We've been texting since school. We texted before the draft. It's also a smooth transition there."

The Rams don't know when Gurley will be a full-participant in practice coming off an ACL tear, but Mason says he will welcome Gurley when he is ready to play and is excited to play alongside the explosive back.

"I feel like this is what God put us here to do," Mason said. "We're all here. He put us here to play football. You've got to have fun while you're out here. ...We just couldn't wait to get back together and play together."
