Gisele: 'Supportive' marriage with Tom Brady helped during Deflategate

Remember those nasty divorce rumors about Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen? Well, the power couple remains intact and it sounds like everything’s just peachy in paradise.

Bundchen opened up about her marriage with the New England Patriots quarterback during an interview that aired Tuesday on “CBS This Morning.” The supermodel acknowledged not every day is picturesque, but Bundchen and Brady have stuck by each other’s side through thick and thin.

“I think we’ve been through a few tough times together,” Bundchen told host Charlie Rose when asked a question alluding to Brady’s Deflategate drama. “I think that’s when you know who are your friends and who loves you. My father always said the quality of your life depends on the quality of your relationships, and I think, no matter how challenging it was, we’ve always been supportive of one another. I think that’s the most important thing you can have in life, you know? A support system and love.”

If that’s not mushy enough, Bundchen also offered a nurturing response when asked about Brady having a son with his ex-girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan. Moynahan revealed she was pregnant with Brady’s child shortly after the quarterback started dating Bundchen in late 2006.

“It was a challenging thing,” Bundchen said. “Here I am, thinking I’m dating this guy, we met, we started dating and everything is great, and this happens.

“It was one of those moments of like, do I just run away? Now, eight years later, I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter bonus child.”

Stick around to see if Brady and Bundchen live happily after. They sure seem like they’re on the fast track to continued bliss, though, especially with Bundchen’s $700 book selling out before hitting shelves.

Let’s just hope Bundchen doesn’t become fed up with Brady’s 3:30 a.m. film-studying sessions.
