Tebow buys $1.4 million home at Jacksonville Country Club

Tim Tebow is calling Jacksonville home again. Just not in the way some fans had hoped.

The former Denver Broncos quarterback bought a $1.4 million home at Glen Kernan Golf and Country Club in Jacksonville, the Jacksonville Business Journal reported Monday. Tebow grew up in the area and played college football at the University of Florida.

Some Jaguars fans recently petitioned their team to sign the former Heisman Trophy winner, who captivated the NFL world with his heroic comebacks for the Broncos in 2011. But Tebow won't be playing in Jacksonville. He'll just be living there -- and probably playing plenty of golf at his new home.

Tebow will be a college football analyst on ESPN's SEC network this fall.

Tebow's 6,525-square-foot crib was built in 2000 and sold to him by a physician named Dr. David J. Bailey. One can imagine he'll fill up his living room with plenty of high-definition televisions so he can analyze all of the games during his downtime.
