Thomas active for Dolphins against Buffalo
Cornerbacks Brent Grimes and Nolan Carroll and running back Daniel Thomas are all active for the Miami Dolphins for Sunday's matchup with the Buffalo Bills.
Thomas was questionable with an ankle injury, while Grimes (groin) and Carroll (knee) were listed as probable during the week, but expected to play.
The Bills will be without three starters, including receiver Stevie Johnson and safety Aaron Williams. Johnson missed the entire week after his mother passed away on Dec. 14. Williams injured his ribs in Buffalo's Week 15 win over Jacksonville.
Quarterback EJ Manuel reinjured his left knee in the same game and is inactive, as expected. Thad Lewis will get the start, as announced earlier in the week.
