Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker used a Herculean effort on a 57-yard touchdown reception in Sunday’s 33-16 loss to the New England Patriots to help establish a new single-season team record for receiving yards at his position.

In the fourth quarter, with the Titans trailing 27-10, Walker caught a pass over the middle from Tennessee quarterback Zach Mettenberger near midfield. The 10-year veteran bounced off one would-be tackler, broke free from another before heading down the sideline, where he offered a final stiff-arm to a Patriots’ safety Jordan Richards before taking it in for the score.

The touchdown was Walker’s second of the game and his sixth of the season. It also gave him 935 receiving yards on the season, the most in franchise history.
