Lovie Smith taking over playcalling duties has backfired so far

Head coach Lovie Smith decided to take over the play calling duties in 2015, with the hopes that things would be improved from 2014. While the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have already matched their win total from last season, there's one negative specific defensive stat that proves things haven't gone all that great with Smith making the defensive calls.

As Pewter Report points out, Lovie Smith has given up four 30-plus point games so far in 2015, a number that matches Tampa Bay's defense through all of 2014.

That's pretty incredible to think about, but obviously shows that something just isn't working at this point. It's going to be interesting to see what changes are made moving forward in 2015, as the Buccaneers definitely look like a better team than they were last year.
