Today, we look back at moment No. 44 when Jermaine Lewis ensured the Ravens would win Super Bowl XXXV.

Three touchdowns scored in a 36-second flurry during the third quarter provided the pivotal moments in this Baltimore Ravens blowout.


After cornerback Duane Starks returned a Kerry Collins interception 49 yards for a touchdown, New York Giants wide receiver Ron Dixon immediately answered with a 97-yard kickoff return for a score.

Baltimore’s Lewis proceeded to take New York’s subsequent kickoff 84 yards for a score that put the Ravens ahead by a 24-7 margin in a game that ended up never really being close.
