Super Bowl moment No. 38: Terry Bradshaw's Super redemption

As we count down to Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara, it's time to look back on the magical and memorable moments in the 49 previous Super Bowls. FOX Sports senior NFL writer Alex Marvez has ranked the 50 greatest moments in the big game's big history, and every weekday from now until Feb. 7 we'll unveil the latest addition to our countdown. Today, we look back at moment No. 38, when the Steelers won Super Bowl XIV behind Terry Bradshaw.

This was about as basic a pass play as can be called, yet it still resulted in big things for Pittsburgh.

Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw dropped straight back and heaved the football to wide receiver John Stallworth just beyond the outstretched arms of Los Angeles Rams defensive back Rod Perry.

The 73-yard touchdown put the Steelers ahead, 24-19, early in the fourth quarter and showed great resiliency by Bradshaw, who was intercepted three times earlier in the game (including once by Perry).

The Steelers went on to win their fourth Super Bowl title of the 1970s with Bradshaw capturing MVP honors.
