Fans of SB 50's losing team much more likely to shatter their iPhones?

Sports fans have some wild ways of showing their frustration after a big loss, but some fans also choose to go the expensive route.

After looking back at historical data from past games, an iPhone repair company iCracked has noted that repair requests have increased by nearly 200 percent in the days following a loss in that team's home state.

Via The Fix:

According to iCracked's blog "The Fix", in 2014, Colorado, home state of the losing Denver Broncos experienced a 184-percent surge in iPhone repair requests above average. In 2014, Washington, home state of the losing Seattle Seahawks experienced a 176-percent surge in repair requests above average.

“We first looked at the data out of curiosity, not expecting it to reveal any hugely different patterns. When we discovered the pretty hilarious trend, we knew sports fans across the U.S. would relate to the frustration of such a crushing loss. I’m just happy we can service all these requests and hopefully improve our customer’s’ days,” said AJ Forsythe, iCracked co-founder and CEO.

For all of the fans out there, from either team, hopefully knowing this will help shape your decision-making process not matter what happens in Super Bowl 50.
