Steelers' Gilbert looking to overcome shaky start

Published Sep. 19, 2014 2:29 p.m. ET

PITTSBURGH (AP) Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle Marcus Gilbert is looking to bounce back from a rough start.

Gilbert has allowed four sacks through the first two games of the season, including a pair to Baltimore's Elvis Dumervil in a loss to the Ravens last week. He also drew two momentum-sapping penalties as the Steelers fell to 1-1.

Gilbert says there is plenty of room for improvement. He added he feels no additional pressure after signing a $30 million contract extension during the preseason.

Gilbert and the rest of the offensive line will have its hands full on Sunday night when Pittsburgh travels to unbeaten Carolina (2-0).

Wide receiver Lance Moore is expected to play for the Steelers after missing the first two games with a groin injury.
