Jono Hartles is passionate about the Rams.

In fact, Hartles traveled 8,000 miles just to watch his favorite team in person.

And boy, did he get a treat.

What better way to see a game when your team wins a thrilling game over a division rival -- in this case, the Seahawks, to kick off the 2015 regular season.

Hartles penned a column for Sports Illustrated to chronicle his experience and also tell his story of his passion for the Rams.

"I get up at 5 a.m. every Monday morning in the season to watch the games (there’s a 16-hour time difference), and I see every single Rams game," Hartles wrote. "I’m obsessed. I take days off of work when the Rams play national TV games. I take days off for the NFL draft. And of course I take the Super Bowl—on a Monday in New Zealand—off."

That's the definition of a diehard fan.
