Seahawks' Lynch expected to be a 'full-go' at Thursday's practice

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is ready to return to the starting lineup after missing two games due to a hamstring injury.

Coach Pete Carroll said Lynch, who was injured late in the first half of a Week 3 victory over the Chicago Bears, will be a full-go at Thursday's practice. Lynch had not missed a game since 2011 prior to the current injury.

Rookie Thomas Rawls has thrived in the absence of Lynch, rushing for 169 yards and a touchdown last week for Seattle's top-ranked ground game, which is averaging 142.4 yards per contest. Rawls will continue to see time but Carroll said Lynch has "earned" his starting job.

"But he looks great, looks like he’s ready to go,” said Carroll, who doesn't expect Lynch to be on a pitch count. “That’s what we anticipate. Got to make it through the week, though.”

Lynch has rushed for at least 1,200 yards and 11 touchdowns in each of his four seasons with the Seahawks.
