Seahawks' Lynch fined again for making obscene gesture
Marshawn Lynch is in trouble with the league again.
The Seattle Seahawks star running back is being fined $20,000 for making an obscene gesture during his fourth-quarter touchdown against the Green Bay Packers in the NFC championship game.
ESPN was the first to report the news.
Lynch scored on a 24-yard run with a 1:33 left in regulation then looked back at the Packers and subtly made the gesture.
Lynch was fined $11,050 earlier this season for making an obscene gesture while scoring a touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals. Lynch jumped backward into the end zone to finish off his 79-yard touchdown.
Lynch could face further fines if he refuses to talk to the media leading up to the Super Bowl. He will be required to speak to the media Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of next week.
On Thursday, Lynch tweeted that he's "embarrassed" to work for the NFL after teammate Chris Matthews was fined $11,000 for doing the same thing he did.
