WATCH: Seahawks' Lockette caps flea-flicker with spectacular grab

The Seattle Seahawks dug deep into their playbook Sunday to connect on a long scoring pass against the Carolina Panthers.

Quarterback Russell Wilson converted a dazzling flea-flicker in the third quarter, hitting Ricardo Lockette on a 40-yard strike in the end zone to give the Seahawks a 17-7 lead.

Lockette made a spectacular catch to finish off the trick play after Wilson pitched the ball to running back Marshawn Lynch, who started on a right sweep before turning to toss the ball back to the quarterback.

Wilson stepped into a pass at midfield and launched the ball for Lockette, who leaped and managed to reach over the defender -- Kurt Coleman -- who was fronting him and pull the ball in despite his momentum taking him away from the play.

It was only the second reception and first touchdown for Lockette through the first six games.
