Seahawks lose linebacker Bruce Irvin to the Raiders
The Seattle Seahawks defense just took a big hit Tuesday. Linebacker Bruce Irvin will sign with the Oakland Raiders, FOX Sports NFL Insider Mike Garafolo confirmed.
Expect to hear that Ken Norton, who coached Bruce Irvin in Seattle, was a big factor in his opting to sign in Oakland.

Irvin spent his first four seasons in the NFL with the Seahawks, totaling 22 sacks in that time. The 28-year-old linebacker played in 15 games last season, finishing with 22 tackles and 5 1/2 sacks.
The Raiders’ pass rush next season should be something special, as Irvin will team up with Khalil Mack and Aldon Smith.
