Hobbled by foot injury, 49ers’ Hyde expects to play Thursday

Running back Carlos Hyde gave himself and the San Francisco 49ers a scare when he crumpled to the ground in the third quarter of Sunday's game without being touched.
“It just shocked me how bad it hurt when I tried to put too much weight on it, and I just went down,” said Hyde, who had been questionable leading up to the game against the Baltimore Ravens because of a sore left foot.
Hyde, who entered the contest seventh in the league in rushing, finished with 55 yards on 21 carries. He did return to the game following the tumble but showed little burst down the stretch.
With the 49ers set to face the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night, Hyde said he will “definitely” be ready to go. Backup Reggie Bush missed Sunday's game with a calf injury, leaving Jarryd Hayne and Mike Davis as the only other options.
“Hopefully my coaches will let me sit out again, stay off of it, and let it heal so I can be able to go Thursday,” Hyde said.
