Chargers get a much-needed break with Orlando Franklin’s injury
Chargers fans must've tossed a few remotes watching yet another lineman leave the game.
This time, guard Orlando Franklin needed a cart. But his prospects are much more promising than they seemed against the Raiders.
Franklin must be relieved. He might not have to miss more time after a high ankle sprain forced him out of the lineup for three long weeks.
His team has a little wiggle room now, too. The veteran can play both guard and tackle — something he might have to do if this season keeps taking its toll on San Diego's front five.
Some positive #Chargers injury news: G Orlando Franklin has only a slight MCL sprain and is day-to-day, source said.
