The lives of players selected in last week's NFL Draft are undoutedly hectic and full of big changes -- adjusting to a new city, getting to know new teammates and coaches, learning a new playbook.

Wide receiver Sammy Watkins, selected by the Buffalo Bills in the first round with the fourth overall pick, took some time on the eve of his first professional workout to visit a legend of his new team -- Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly.

Kelly, 54, who is hospitalized while fighting a second battle with sinus cancer, was in good spirits for the visit, Watkins told the Bills' official blog.

"He was laughing, joking around with us," Watkins said. "It was great. He's a great man."

Watkins is friends with Chad Kelly, Jim's Nephew (pictured above on the far left), who was a teammate of Watkins at Clemson University. Darius Robinson, a former Clemson Tiger who recently signed a three-year deal with the Bills, also joined Watkins to wish Kelly well.
