Sam Bradford and Zach Ertz already developing chemistry

Quarterback Sam Bradford has yet to take many snaps in 11-on-11 drills for the Philadelphia Eagles, but he may have already found his favorite new target anyway. Bradford has had his ups and downs overall so far through the Eagles' OTA practices, during 7-on-7 drills, but he has been downright dominant when targeting tight end Zach Ertz. The connection between the two players has become a common sight during OTAs.

"He is a great tight end," Bradford said of Ertz, per True Jersey. "Obviously he is really athletic. He gives us the ability to stretch the field and make some (big plays) down the field."

Ertz feels that the addition of Bradford at quarterback will lead to more downfield opportunities for him down the seam.

"Last year, the start of the year, I was hitting the ball more down the field," Ertz said, per True Jersey. "Then we had some injuries, and I don't know if the game plan changed or what, but I think we will get back to some of the deep plays. I'll do anything I can to get open.

"Not only does he (Bradford) have a strong arm, but he is very, very accurate. He can put the ball wherever he wants to," Ertz said. "Being a taller guy, a more athletic guy, he likes to put the ball up high where I can go up and get the ball. He is able to make all the throws in the book."

Bradford is taking things slowly in his recovery from a torn ACL, but the goal is to get him ready for training camp to be a full participant. Ertz was only a role player on offense in 2014, but with another year in the NFL, many expect his snap count to take a major leap forward in 2015. If Bradford can be ready to go for Week 1, Ertz is a prime breakout candidate.
