Saints scratch Ingram, Nicholas out for Falcons
The New Orleans Saints have scratched running back Mark Ingram and linebacker Jonathan Casillas for Monday night's game against Atlanta, while the Falcons have scratched starting linebacker Stephen Nicholas.
Ingram, who has a toe injury on his left foot, and Casillas, who has a sore right knee, both sat out practice all week and had been listed as doubtful.
Nicholas, who played last week, has a toe injury that kept him out of practice. He'd been listed as doubtful and Mike Peterson will start for him.
Atlanta has also scratched cornerback Kelvin Hayden, who has been sidelined with a toe injury.
Saints defensive end Turk McBride, who has been practicing as he tried to come back from a left ankle injury, has been deactivated for a sixth straight game.
