Robert Kraft put Roger Goodell in a body bag during Super Bowl 51 speech

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft delivered a troll for the ages towards Roger Goodell during his postgame speech after winning Super Bowl LI.

Super Bowl LI will probably go down as one of the greatest football games ever played after the New England Patriots overcame a 28-3 deficit to beat the Atlanta Falcons in overtime. However, Patriots owner Robert Kraft might also go down as delivering one of the best postgame speech trolls you’ve ever heard.

Following a few minutes of total chaos on the field, the stage was eventually set up and the Lombardi Trophy was presented to the Patriots players. Once it got to the stage and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell began talking, he was greeting by an incredible shower of boos from the audience.

Goodell then handed the trophy to Kraft, who received a much more positive response. Once he began talking, the Patriots owner was quick to troll Goodell.

“A lot has transpired over the last two years”, Kraft said, obviously talking about the Deflategate saga.  “I don’t think that needs any explanation.”

Everyone was wondering what it would be like if the Patriots wound up winning the Super Bowl just because of the interaction between them and Goodell. Having Kraft put Goodell in a body bag like that is probably the sweetest thing that Patriots fans could ask for.

With five Super Bowl rings, Bill Belichick, Tom Brady and Kraft are hoping that they can add a sixth before the future Hall of Fame quarterback retires.
