Rob Gronkowski calls out the Cowboys for stealing the Patriots’ slogan
For years, Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots have promoted the phrase “Do your job.” It was a catchphrase during their Super Bowl run two years ago, and was even the title of their documentary chronicling the championship.
Last year, the Patriots trademarked the slogan, which was completely unnecessary, seeing as those three words are used on a daily basis (yeah, I’m talking about your supervisor at work). But it looks like the Dallas Cowboys are trying to swipe it from the Patriots.
Rob Gronkowski called them out for it and dubbed the thievery “#DoYourJobGate.”

The Patriots have three trademarks on the phrase, though they probably won’t file any sort of suit against the Cowboys. Still, it’s a shady move by Dallas.
Perhaps Jason Garrett is just trying to steal some of the magic Belichick has created in New England. It’s actually not a bad idea.
