Richard Sherman rips Thursday Night Football: 'Poopfest'

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman rips the NFL for continuing to schedule Thursday night football games, according to ESPN's Sheil Kapadia.

"Poopfest. It's terrible," Sherman said. "We got home like 1 o'clock in the morning, something like that on Monday and then you've got to play again. Congratulations, NFL, you did it again. But they've been doing it all season, so I guess we're the last ones to get the middle finger."

Seattle will play the Rams on Thursday, which comes just four days after their 38–10 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

Sherman told reporters that he expects to be between 50% and 60% recovered for Thursday's game.

Earlier this month, Sports Illustrated's Greg Bishop chronicled some of the recovery techniques that players use to turn their bodies around for the next game.
