Redskins claim LB Kehl off waivers, cut LB Addison
The Washington Redskins have claimed linebacker Bryan Kehl off waivers and released linebacker Mario Addison.
Kehl spent training camp with the Redskins but was cut at the end of preseason. He has since played three games with the Kansas City Chiefs before being cut this week.
Kehl has also played with the New York Giants and St. Louis Rams in his five-year NFL career.
Addison was signed by the Redskins in early October and played in five games.
The Redskins were also one of three teams to put in a waiver claim for former Philadelphia Eagles two-time Pro Bowl defensive end Jason Babin.
Babin was awarded to the Jacksonville Jaguars, who had the worst record among the three teams. The Buffalo Bills also put in a claim.
