Ravens receiver says he lost 'three or four pounds' after cutting hair

In the photo above, you'll see what Breshad Perriman looked like when he was drafted 26th overall by the Baltimore Ravens in last year's NFL Draft. He had quite a lot of hair.

Below, you'll see what Perriman looks like now, heading into his second NFL season. He's got not so much hair.

Why the drastic change? Well, as Perriman told ESPN, he doesn't really know. He just woke up one day and decided to get rid of the dreadlocks. What he does know, however, is that he feels a bit lighter without them, and for good reason.

"Once I cut it, I weighed myself, and I lost three or four pounds. It was crazy," said Perriman.

Four pounds of hair? Uh, yeah ... that is indeed pretty crazy. I've heard of some crazy ways to lose weight fast -- spitting into a bottle all day, wearing a trash bag in the sauna, taking those crazy pills you see on infomercials -- but getting a haircut? That's a new one.

We can only assume he'll be quicker and more aerodynamic on the field this year.
