Reports: Frank Gore expected to sign with Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles shipped away running back LeSean McCoy last week in a trade that rocked the NFL landscape. Now, the team may have found their replacement.

Running back Frank Gore is expected to sign with the Eagles on Tuesday when the new league year begins, FOX Sports 1's NFL insider Mike Garafolo confirmed. ESPN's Adam Schefter and Adam Caplan first reported the news.

Gore, 31, will sign a three-year deal with the Eagles, which will guarantee him $7.5 million over the first two years, NFL Media's Albert Breer reported.

If Gore is to sign with Philly, it would mark the end of an illustrious 10-year career in San Francisco. After running for 1,000 yards in four straight seasons, Gore still has plenty of left in the tank.
